Friday, Apr 23, 2010: Beverly will be calling a Family Barn Dance at the Carpenter School in Wolfeboro from 7-8:30 pm. Music will be provided by Gale Johnsen on fiddle, Brandan Dowd on bass, Steve Davis on mandolin, Russ Lanoie on guitar - and maybe YOU! (Drop me a line if you'd like to sit in.) This dance will be beginner-friendly, all dances will be taught, so no dancing experience is necessary. Fun for the whole family! Admission is free. There will be a donation basket for G.A.L.A., our local sustainability organization that is sponsoring this dance as part of their Earth Week activities.
